In this September update from Caspian One we look at what’s been happening over the summer… with the latest career interview from Finance Director, Nicole Thompson (who celebrated her first year with us in August!), staff promotions, recent staff anniversaries and an update on our response to COVID-19.

On Monday this week, following guidance set-out by the UK Government, we at Caspian One decided to activate our business continuity plans and facilitate home working; across the entire business.

This March Caspian One welcomes two new consultants - Joseph Poynter and Will Brown. Joining our successful North American division, these new starters will be supporting the growing demands of our clients in Toronto; focusing on UI and Java capabilities.

We're huge fans of celebrating success at Caspian One - in all its forms. Each year the Caspian One Awards enable us to come together as one team; rewarding incredible achievements, recognising commitment to the business and overall, enjoying time together away from the office. This July, select members of the Caspian One family were rewarded with a glorious summertime race day meet at Ascot... a special afternoon of horse racing, fine dining and glorious sunshine!

Celebrating beautiful blue skies, beaming sunshine and business successes this quarter - at the end of June, we took to the streets around our Bournemouth offices, for 2019's company summer incentive! Teaming up with iSpy we downed tools for the afternoon, to take part in an immersive GPS scavenger hunt that was personalised specifically to suit our beach-side location.

March/April 2019 update > Last week, Manager Paul Samuels and Caspian One Senior Principal Consultant Ryan Hughes, returned to our UK offices following their latest trip to the great white north. In this update we catch up with the team, exploring what they got up-to in Toronto and Montreal.

At Caspian One we started this year with a celebration of 2018’s successes - taking our top achievers on an incredible trip to Morzine, France for a few days in the mountains!

Whilst we celebrate the successes of people within our business all through the year, by far the most acclaimed event is the Awards Ceremony - held in December at The Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth. Read on for 2018's winners.

Clients are harder to contact... phones are ringing out... more and more emails are being followed by an 'out of office' autoresponse... It can mean only one thing - it's the last week before Christmas! From everyone at Caspian One, Merry Christmas!

On September 25th 2018, we had the pleasure of visiting Langside, meeting with the passionate Nicole Warrilow. Nicole was kind enough to show us around the facilities; introducing us to the incredible teachers at Langside, along with the wonderful children they support!

2018 is a great year to work at Caspian One - new websites, incredible upcoming events, outstanding business performances and now a full office hardware upgrade. With expanding teams and plans for upcoming growth, our Board of Directors decided it was time to refresh and future-proof our offices and operations; much to the delight of everyone within the business.

The evening, presented by the comedy double-act of Mr. Dominic Bennett and Phil Hodgetts, is centred around an Oscars-esque awards presentation, which has eight categories - with winners selected by our Directors; along with staff voted categories including ‘People’s Choice’, ‘Best Stunt’, ‘Best Banter’ and ‘Worst Banter’.
